Jaqueline Vanek was born the 27th August 1984 in Villach, Austria, and she currently resides in Madrid, Spain. Her studies began in 2003 led to Sculpture, but in 2005 she became involved into the magical world of photography. After her studies in Arts she gets specialized with a MA Digital Fashion, Portrait and Advertising Photography.

At first, her work was focused solely on photographic series depicting her dreams and illusions. She loved to create her own world through the images. Until the end of 2009 she had the opportunity to participate in ten exhibitions around Spain, Austria and Mexico, including a participation in the Biennale "Fotonoviembre 09" together with artists like Dave McKean and a participation as round table member of the Digital Photography Meeting "Macaronesia". Her work has been featured on websites like ArtLimited, Deviantart, Flickr, Fotoplatino, Humblevoice, Artelista... she published in Magazines like MC Digital Editions, Staf Magazine, Bak Magazine and some local newspapers from Spain and Austria. She also worked on Book covers like "Sucedió en el Ave" and "Los Amantes de la Belleza", both announced around the Spanish Underground for weeks.

In 2009 her work became increasingly divided and she started to share the personal side with the fashion world. Her colorful and contrasted fashion work is completely the reverse of her personal one, darker, dramatic and mysterious. Right now she gradually tries to make her a way into the vast world of Art and the Fashion Industry, among others being one of the creators and designers of the Magazine SUED, focused on young creative people and their way to see the world.
