A new milestone: Winning FIRST PLACE at IPA Awards
I’m beyond proud to share that my photographic self-portrait series The Mystery of Hrafndís, created in Iceland, has been awarded First Place at the IPA Awards. Judged by an incredible panel including David Clarke (Head of Photography at Tate), Amy Salzman (Senior Art Producer at Saatchi & Saatchi NY), Paris Chong (Gallery Manager at Leica Gallery LA), and Collier Brown (Photography Critic, Harvard University), the competition had over 13,000 entries from 120 countries — and this project made it to the very top.
But the journey doesn’t stop there:
GOLD — EPA European Photography Awards
GOLD — PX3 · Prix de la Photographie Paris
Honorable Mention — ND Awards
I can’t describe how proud I am of this milestone. What started as an inner dialogue with nature, myth, and self has taken on a life of its own — and The Mystery of Hrafndís is still not finished. There is more to come. Thank you to everyone who’s walked with me on this path, to everyone who believes in me and give me support!
